​​​​A new state high school has been built for the growing area of Palmview and has opened for Term 1, 2023.

Stage 1 of Palmview State Secondary College includes an administration building, student support and staff building, science and applied technology centre, multi-purpose hall, canteen, hospitality and food centre, junior general learning areas, oval, multi-purpose sports courts and car parking, providing excellent educational facilities to the community.

The new state secondary school will increase the capacity ​of the local school network and provide enrolment relief to Chancellor State College, Meridan Secondary College and Kawana Waters State College.​
