New state school for Yarrabilba

​​​​​​​​​​​​​A new state school is being planned for the growing area of Yarrabilba and will open for Prep to Year 6 for Term 1, 2023.

The new school will include an administration building, prep and junior learning spaces, a resource centre, multi-purpose hall, canteen, car parking, amenities and an oval, providing excellent educational facilities to the community.

Yarrabilba’s newest state school will increase the capacity of the local schooling network and provide enrolment relief to Yarrabilba State School, Logan Village State School and Cedar Creek State School.

  • This project is in the construction phase.
  • A construction contract has been awarded.
  • Construction has commenced on site.

What's next

  • A Foundation Principal has been appointed and expressions of interest for enrolments will be welcomed late Term 2, 2022.
  • The catchment map will become available in Term 3, 2022.
