Minister for Education and the Arts
The Honourable John-Paul Langbroek MP was elected as the Member for Surfers Paradise in 2004, and currently serves as the Minister for Education and the Arts in the Crisafulli Government. Minister Langbroek previously served as the Minister for Education, Training and Employment from 2012–2015. He was the 33rd Queensland Leader of the Opposition and Leader of the Liberal National Party. Before entering politics, Minister Langbroek was a dental surgeon and practiced in the United Kingdom and the Gold Coast.
