We all have a role in creating workplaces, schools and communities that value, support and uphold the rights of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

The Department of Education acknowledges the Traditional Owners of the lands from across Queensland. We pay our respect to the Elders, past, present and emerging, for they hold t​he memories, traditions, the culture and hopes of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples across the state.

Interpreter services

The Department of Education is committed to providing accessible services to Queenslanders from all culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.
