Registered nurses employed in Department of Education

The consultation period for the proposed Nurses and Midwives (Queensland Health and Department of Education) Certified Agreement (EB12) 2025 will be held on Tuesday 30 September until Tuesday 14 October 2025.

A copy of the proposed agreement as well as explanatory material is available on the department'​s intranet site (departmental staff can use the search feature on OnePortal). Live on-line information sessions will be held during the consultation period (departmental staff can use the search feature on OnePortal for more information​).

Following the consultation period, eligible employees will be invited to vote on the proposed agreement. A ballot of employees covered by the proposed agreement will be held from 8am 15 October 2025 until 5pm 21 October 2025.

Registered n​urses employed by the Department of Education should check their work email for information about the ballot and how to vote.
