Supporting students to learn in state-of-the-art facilities, the department is providing learning spaces to cater for growth and support contemporary learning.
The 2023–24 budget includes funding of nearly $284 million over 2 years for additional classrooms to be built at existing schools experiencing in-catchment enrolment growth.

Yeppoon State High School
A 2-storey hospitality and applied technology learning centre including 6 specialist learning spaces (engineering workshop, construction workshop, design/graphics/robotics studio, 2 hospitality kitchens and a classroom), staff and student services, kitchenette, storerooms and amenities at Yeppoon State High School.
Malanda State High School
A 2-storey learning centre including four general learning spaces, senior hospitality kitchen, junior food studies kitchen, dining room, staffrooms, storerooms and amenities at Malanda State High School.
Mudgeeraba Special School
A multi-storey learning centre including 13 general learning areas, a multi-purpose skills space, kitchen, staff offices and amenities at Mudgeeraba Special School.
Rochedale State School
A 2-storey leaning centre including 12 learning spaces, amenities and a lift at Rochedale State School.
