A brand new senior learning facility at Claremont Special School has opened to support the school's senior students to smoothly transition into post-school career pathways.
The $13.2 million (including GST) building is equipped with engaging spaces specifically designed to meet the needs of the school's senior learning program.
Food preparation and independent living areas are included as part of the building's 4 new life skills learning spaces, along with an additional eight learning spaces to accommodate for the school's growing population. The building also features a lift, amenities and a new car park.
The new bright, modern learning spaces will provide an environment that allows students to develop vocational skills they can use in their local community.
