For the past 12 months, the Queensland Government, together with Doomadgee Aboriginal Shire Council and key school community members, have been working to develop a vision and identify educational improvements, new buildings and spaces for Doomadgee State School.
What may change at Doomadgee State School?
The outcomes we hope to achieve are:
- a master plan for Doomadgee State School
- a list of prioritised projects, categorised into short-term, medium-term and long-term proposed plans.
Note: All proposed projects are unfunded.

Please look at the
draft master plan brochure which includes concept maps for Doomadgee State School to see our ideas.
Note: All proposed projects in the master plan are unfunded.
