Since 2025, the Queensland Government, together with Pormpuraaw Aboriginal Shire Council and key school community members, have been working to develop a vision and identify stage 1 and stage 2 priority educational improvements, new buildings and spaces for Pormpuraaw State School.
What may change at Pormpuraaw State School?
The outcomes we hope to achieve are:
- a master plan for Pormpuraaw State School
- a list of prioritised projects, categorised into stage 1 and stage 2 potential projects.
Note: All proposed projects in the master plan are unfunded.
