For the past 12 months, the Queensland Government, together with key community members and school representatives, has been working to develop a vision and identify stage 1, 2, and 3 educational improvements, new buildings and spaces for Lockhart State School.
We would like to share these ideas with the community and get your feedback.
What may change at Lockhart State School?
The outcomes we hope to achieve are:
- a master plan for Lockhart State School
- a list of prioritised projects for each master plan, categorised into stage 1, stage 2 and stage 3 potential projects.
Note: All proposed projects in the master plan are unfunded.

Please look at the draft master plan brochure which includes a concept map for Lockhart State School to see our ideas. Paper copies are available from Lockhart State School or the Lockhart River Aboriginal Shire Council. Let us know if you agree or disagree with these draft plans by providing us with feedback.
Note: All proposed projects in the master plan are unfunded.
