For the past 12 months, the Queensland Government, together with Palm Island Aboriginal Shire Council and key school community members, has been working to develop a vision and identify stage 1, 2 and 3 educational improvements, new buildings and spaces for Bwgcolman Community School.
We would like to share these ideas with the community and get your feedback.
What may change at Bwgcolman Community School?
The outcomes we hope to achieve are:
- a master plan for Bwgcolman Community School
- a list of prioritised projects, categorised into stage 1, 2 and 3 potential projects.

Please look at the
draft master plan brochure which includes concept maps for Bwgcolman Community School to see our ideas. Paper copies are available from Bwgcolman Community School or Palm Island Aboriginal Shire Council. Let us know if you agree or disagree with this draft plan by providing us with feedback.
Note: All proposed projects in the master plan are unfunded.
